Hi folks. Well….ready or not, welcome to summer weather. It is supposed to hit the mid-90’s later this week, so sounds like a good time to head to the cool basement and run some trains.

Summer also means that the NMRA convention in Indianapolis is coming up fast. We plan to be closed the first part of July (more details to follow) to attend the convention and meet with manufacturers to check out the new and upcoming products. Thus, the newsletter is a little early this month, as the rest of June looks pretty busy.

Fathers Day is also rapidly approaching (June 19th). Weather permitting, we will be running a tent sale for Fathers Day this Sunday, June 12th, from 12-4pm and then again June 18th, from 10-6pm, and on Sunday June 19th from 12-4pm for last minute procrastinators. We will have some one-of-a-kind deals for the sale, along with a selection of grab boxes of equipment and train accessories. Green River Hobbies gift certificates also make great gifts for Dads (or Granddads), available in any denomination.

Also, please note that starting the week of June 13th, our summer hours will be as follows:
Monday – closed

Tuesday – closed

Wednesday – Saturday: 10-6pm

Sunday: 12-4pm
